Federal court rejects challenge to Oklahoma law banning gender transition treatment for minors

The Federal Appeal Court upheld the Oklahoma law prohibits medical treatment between the gender transition to minors.
The law, the Senate Bill 613, makes a felony for healthcare workers to provide gender transition treatment such as puberty and hormones to a minor.
The draft law was approved by the legislative body controlled by the Republicans in the state and was signed on the law by Republican Party Governor Kevin State in 2023.
Five families of transgender children and a doctor in the state law have been stabbed, on the pretext that they violated their constitutional rights.

“We are aware of the importance of this issue for all concerned,” Carson wrote. “But this still represents a new problem related to a dispute about how to ensure the health and welfare of children. The judge added: “While we respect that the prosecutors do not agree with the evaluation of the Legislative Council of the dangers of such procedures, this alone does not invalidate a democratic law on the basis of rational foundations.”
