Former Fox News host Jeanine Pirro confirmed as top D.C. prosecutor

On Saturday, Janine Peru confirmed that President Donald Trump chose to work as senior prosecutor in Washington, DC, where legislators failed to reach a deal with dozens of candidates for the president.

Trump’s first choice was not for this position. His first option, Ed Martin, failed to get enough support among Republicans earlier this year. Thom Tillis, RN.C, made Martin’s effectiveness due to his concerns about his views on riots in January 6, 2021 on Capitol Hill.
