Former server sues NYC’s Polo Bar over alleged cocaine use, sexual harassment

Employees of the exclusive Nightspot stadium in New York City, used spray bottles for cocaine during their seizures and had a system to assess customer attractiveness and participate in sexual harassment, according to a lawsuit.

Polo Bar, a bar and restaurant owned by the fashion icon Ralph Lauren, has a “toxic culture” and “rampant drug use and alcohol consumption at work”, Frank Nobliti, the former server that was ended, claims a federal lawsuit.

The lawsuit claims that male presidents have received employees under the guise of verification of uniforms, and managers and cocaine servers are often used in the job.

It is claimed that one of the servants sold cocaine in the institution, and workers “regularly mix cocaine with water in a spray bottle and use this bottle to eat cocaine” through their skin, says Nobliti, 42, in the lawsuit.

Nobliti accuses Michael Lewis, the director of the bar events, and Darnell Dodson, the director of international hospitality, of touching it inappropriately at different times.

The lawsuit claims that Dodson was known for the employment of only attractive men, even if they had no experience, in the hope that they had a “sexual relationship with them”. Nobelti added that male employees who have sexual relationship with him “will receive preferential treatment.”

He claims that the employees also played a “classification game” in which they ruled customers.

“Male servers often have made offensive sexual comments and graphics about customers,” claiming the lawsuit.

Nobliti claims that he was expelled last year after he complained to human resources on how to “face a terrible sexual harassment.”

Supervisors told him that “drinking at work was terminated, although the urine was opened in 2015, the administration and employees drank alcohol regularly and took advantage of illegal drugs during working hours without any consequences for these procedures.”

He said in the deposit: “While the restaurant and its hard -working employees are doing everything they can to ensure their guests have a first -class experience, the defendants have completely failed to ensure that their employees have a safe and legal work environment.”

Nubliti is looking for unlimited damage.

“We have high criteria for how employees themselves do not tolerate misconduct, so we take quick measures when these standards are not fulfilled,” Polo Bar said in a statement to the New York Post.

“This includes the termination of Mr. Nobliti, who was based on clear evidence of his misconduct,” the statement continued. “Since we take all the concerns related to employees seriously, we have accurately achieved the allegations of Mr. Nobliti and we decided that they have no advantage.”

Polo Bar, which was opened in 2015, and is located on East 55 Street on Fifth Avenue Street in Manhattan, to the treatment of celebrity guests, including actors Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, as well as former president Bill Clinton, his wife and former secretary Hillary Clinton.
