Former WWE champion suddenly removes his pants on AEW TV; breaks the internet

The former WWE Superstar and Champion were in action this weekend on AEW TV. The talent in question, Andrade El Edolo, shocked fans at the venue when he took off his pants mid-match.

Earlier this month, Andrade finally returned to All Elite Wrestling, having received an early one-year no-compete waiver imposed on him by his former employer, WWE, following his appearance last year on the sixth anniversary edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite. One week ago, on Collision:maximum Carnage, El Idolo had his first match in the company since Worlds End 2023, defeating Angelico in less than four minutes.

The former multiple-time WWE Champion made his second match in All Elite Wrestling on the latest episode of AEW Collision, where he faced CMLL superstar Magnus. The Mexican star toyed with his opponent throughout the match, and had some surprising interactions with the live crowd. Not only did he give out his phone number to an audience member, but clips and photos have now gone viral on X/Twitter of Andrade taking off his pants mid-match before continuing to wrestle in his box.

El Idolo finally put Magnus away with his new finishing touch, a high twisted jacket with double hooks.

Andrade will face the former world champion on AEW Dynamite next week

Following his victory on the latest episode of Saturday Night Collision, Andrade announced that he has his sights set on the World Men’s championship, which MJF currently holds. Furthermore, he called out Swerve Strickland, claiming that The Moghul was a roadblock on his path to the title, and challenged him to a match next Wednesday. It didn’t take long for Tony Khan to officially announce the fight, taking to X/Twitter to write:

“#AEWDynamite TBS + HBO Max 8/7c, Austin, TX this Wednesday, 1/28 @SwerveConfident vs @AndradeElIdolo After both men picked up impressive victories on @AEWonTV this week, Andrade El Idolo says he wants the World Title and Swerve is standing in his way! Swerve vs Andrade this Wednesday!” – Khan wrote.
