Bolton pleaded not guilty
Former White House National Security Advisor John Bolton He pleaded not guilty Friday to all 18 counts of improper handling of classified materials after being extradited to federal authorities in Maryland.
US Judge Timothy Sullivan explained the charges to Bolton and asked him if he understood them and the potential penalties of up to 10 years for each count and a maximum fine of $250,000 for each count.
“I’m honored,” Bolton said during his appearance in federal court in Greenbelt, Maryland.
