All Nippon Airways finalizes takeover of Nippon Cargo Airlines

Nippon Airways recently announced Nippon Cargo Airlines, the company announced late on Sunday, ending an epic for two years and creating the largest flight group in the world through Tonnage.

Anna was postponed to complete the deal eight times due to the delay in organizational reviews. The Chinese competition authorities agreed to the deal, with circumstances, in early July. Japan’s fair trade committee approved the deal in January.

The acquisition will help all Nippon Airways, which runs six Boeing 767 and two charging Boeing 777, as well as the shipping department transmitted by the company’s passenger plane, and expanding the international air freight network and relevant products to better support the trucks. In 2023, Anna had nine 767 charging aircraft in the fleet.

Nippon Cargo Airlines runs eight Boeing 747-8s, and has another seven-400s on other transport companies that support their network.

In March 2023, Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha, Japanese Ocean and Transport Company, agreed to sell NCA to Ana, saying it faced challenges to make investments necessary to maintain the fleet with the contracting margins contract.

Companies took a much longer time than expected to put the finishing touches on the deal due to the difficulty of receiving all approvals from the countries where companies operate, according to a high -level source with a company. After the initial delay, executive managers expected the closure of the deal in February 2024.

Earlier this year, Anna said she expects to complete the transaction on May 1.

The final transfer of NCA shares occurred to ANA on Friday. The financial conditions have not been revealed.

Ana International Shipping Revenue for the Financial Year in the first quarter of June fell by 2 % to 286.2 million dollars, despite increased traffic volume by 2.5 %. The demand for shipments decreased from China to North America, but Anna compensated for more charges from the rest of Asia to North America.
