One in 10 is preferred to allow all illegal immigrants to stay in the United States

Since 2015, the majority generally preferred to deport illegal immigrants.

Fox News: The Republican Party is seen as more vulnerable to a clear plan for the country

Republicans (54 %) are eight times more vulnerable than Democrats (7 %) to say that all illegal immigrants must be deported, and the independent square agree (25 %).

Nearly 8 of every 10 Democrats, 6 out of 10 independent, and 4 out of 10 Republicans agree that at least illegal immigrants should be deported with crimes, while others should be shown a way to survive.

On the current approach to deportation, however, views are divided. Half, 49 %, I felt that Ice was very aggressive in its efforts to deport illegal immigrants while a quarter (24 %) say it was not aggressive enough. Almost 3 in 10 say deportation efforts on the right (27 %).

Most Democrats believe that Ice is very aggressive (81 %), while Republicans are divided between saying that their actions revolve around the right (43 %) or insufficiently aggressively (40 %). About 17 % of Republicans believe that the ice was very aggressive.

Independents are likely to say that the agency is very aggressive (49 %) of right (28 %) or insufficiently aggressively (23 %).

Fox News poll: Trump faces the opposite winds in Mark for a period of six months

When they were asked about what concerns them about illegal immigration, the largest number of voters says it goes away to government programs (39 %). Less anxiety, whether it leads to an increase in crime (16 %) or terrorism (10 %), occupies jobs from American citizens (14 %), or changes the country’s culture (9 %).

Fears about illegal immigration have turned somewhat compared to 15 years. At that time, with a margin of 10 points, a larger stake in economic issues such as government installation programs or the transfer of jobs from citizens (63 % in 2010 against 53 % now), and less concern about increasing crime (6 % in 2010 against 16 % now).

Meanwhile, the majority oppose the elements related to immigration listed in the new budget legislation, “one beautiful bill”, as 55 % oppose increasing spending on the border wall and 59 % oppose spending on migrant detention centers.

With a margin of 6 points, voters believe that the Republican Party is more able to deal with immigration from the Democratic Party, the best rankings of President Donald Trump on border security (approval of 56 %, 44 % accompaniment) and immigration (48 %, 51 %). Less voters agree on foreign policy (45 %, 54 %), economy (44 %, 55 %), inflation and tariffs (36 %, 62 % per both). In general, 46 % agrees to his job performance, while 54 % do not agree.

One of the reasons for Trump a good border security job is that 1 out of 5 Democrats agree to the job he does – the highest classification of any tested issue. The same applies to independents as it corresponds to more than half of them, which makes the security security its best issue.

A look at the voters of Spanish origin …

Regarding illegal immigration, the positions between voters of Spanish origin appear similar to those among the voters in general: 60 % supported the deportation of illegal immigrants accused of crimes while supporting 15 % of the deportation of all of these here illegally (23 % say they all left).

The majority believes that Ice was very aggressive (57 %) with a quarter (24 %) they say about the right, and 1 out of 5 is not aggressive enough (19 %).

More than half of the Spanish -desperate voters such as Trump’s performance of border security (54 % approval) but they hate it for immigration (60 % do not agree). In general, 42 % and 58 % agreed.

Like voters in general, the biggest concern about illegal immigration between voters of Spanish origin is the disruption of the government (35 %). Otherwise, anxiety is spread in other issues such as crime (15 %), jobs (14 %), culture (14 %), and terrorism (11 %).

It was conducted from 18 to 21 July 2025, under the supervision of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The Fox News survey includes interviews with a sample of 1000 registered voters who were randomly chosen from a national voter file. The respondents spoke with direct interviews on the ground lines (114) and mobile phones (636) or completed the survey on the Internet after receiving the text (250). The results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error from ± 3 percentage points. Sampling error for the results between the sub -groups is higher (between the voters of Spanish origin, with a percentage of 9 degrees Celsius). In addition to the error of sampling, the formulation of questions and demand can affect the results. Weights are generally applied to the variables of age, race, education and the region to ensure that the population composition of the respondents represents the registered voter residents. Sources of developing weight goals include scanning American society, analyzing Fox News to voters and voter file data.
