Freddy Kiwitt Wins Twelve-Round Decision Over Suleiman Jafaru
Gavarro had early success. In the second round, he drove Kiewit into the corner and unloaded in the first minute, then finished the round by pounding Kiewit as the bell sounded. The third followed a similar pattern, with Gavaro pressing Kiewit on the ropes and forcing him to work defensively for long periods.
Kiewit stabilized the fight in the fourth, finding space and landing more consistently before Gavaro rallied again late. The momentum shifted back and forth during the middle rounds. Gavarro outpointed Kiewit in the fifth and much of the sixth, but Kiewit finished the sixth strong, opening up a nosebleed on Gavaro just before the bell.
From the seventh day onwards, Kiewit’s control became more consistent. He kept Gavaro on the defensive in the seventh and took a competitive ninth that saw action from both men. Gavarro briefly regained ground in the 10th, pushing Kiewit into the ropes and landing enough to take the round, but the closing tires came back toward the champion.
Kiewit pressed the action in 11th and finished 12th with a clean job as Gavaro showed visible damage and a nose and mouth bleed at the end. The decision went to Kiewit after twelve rounds.
On the undercard, heavyweight Viktor Faust needed just thirty seconds to stop Todorchi Svetkov. Faust opened with a quick flurry and finished with a straight kick to the body that sent Cvetkow down for a full count.
Super middleweight Alexander Chubel scored a first-round stoppage over Agimi Amane Jr. after knocking him down twice. The first jab came from a left early in the round, followed by a right jab that knocked Amani down again. His corner halted the fight due to a shoulder injury.
Middleweight champion Robert Toman stopped Gregorio Dominguez after two rounds. Toman dropped Dominguez late in the second, and the corner opted not to serve Dominguez for the third.
Can Goek won a six-round decision over Robin Zamora in a southpaw bout. Goeck dominated the exchanges during the first three rounds and finished stronger in the sixth to secure a clear decision.
Christian Patzke and Dean Porter fought to a four-round draw. Porter outmaneuvered Patzke early on the counter-attack, while Patzke used his reach more effectively in the second half as Porter slowed down.
At super welterweight, Darian stopped left-hander Minal Topko in the sixth round. He dropped a left to Topko in the third period and steadily wore him down before the referee waved it off after a set as Topko was down again.
Light heavyweight Ekin Erol scored a first-round stoppage of Hayden Sharif, dropping him twice before the bout was stopped.
