Criminals stole hundreds of thousands of Charlotte Tilbury Health and Beauty from a warehouse guarded by G4S, after leaving arrival codes in the reception area and in the backpack, according to a lawsuit against the security specialist.
The International Logistics Group, the building operator in Northhampton, claimed a lawsuit at the Supreme Court that the thieves stole 242,000 Charlotte Tilby products in January 2023 as a result of “serious violations of the duty” by the G4S.
Lawyers who behave in ILG in the papers of the court claimed that the thieves managed to lead three large vehicles to the loading bays, packed the elements for several hours and left “without realizing the G4S”. This happened until “later later.”
ILG seeks to recover 750,000 pounds, which prompted it to Charlotte Tilbury, which sells makeup, skin care products and perfumes, as well as legal costs. The cosmetic company launched claims against ILG after theft to recover the value of stolen products in addition to the transportation costs.
The G4S has not yet submitted a defense to the court, but said that the G4S Secure Solutions UK will defend the claim.
According to the court papers, the G4S contracted its work at the Northampton facility to M & R Solptions Limited, which is trading as the Nexus National Security Network. The G4S confirmed this in a separate statement to the Venangal Times times.
VPS Group, which has the Nexus National Security Network, rejected the comment.
In the court papers, which were submitted earlier this year, ILG claimed that a document containing the key to access to the site “left in a non -insured security office in the main reception area.”
The prosecutor added that at least one employee “wrote in a different notebook of the main symbols under his control and kept the notes in his back.”
These included the LockBox box, and a side gateway to the employee parking lot and HGV, which opened the main gate to the download area.
The lawsuit said: “ILG is competing that the infiltrators obtained these access keys as a result of the failure of the G4S to keep them safe and/or take all reasonable precautions to prevent their disclosure.”
ILG said that the thieves obtained two separate accidents on January 7, 2023. In the first incident, the infiltrator violated the surrounding fence at about 5 pm and reaching a lock box containing access keys “without strength.”
Using this, the intruder entered the main reception, hung the alarm and gained access to the warehouse. The products were loaded on a car, which left after 6 pm, according to ILG.
The second accident occurred later in the same evening, between 11 pm and 11.40 pm. Three infiltrators opened the external yard gate and opened the lock box. The lawsuit stated that a patrol briefly attended at approximately 11:20 pm, which led them to hide, but after she left the criminals, they returned to the loading Gulf, I mentioned the lawsuit.
Ilg said in her lawsuit that she is “non -essential” for her legal demands against G4S if the sub -company has been contracted on another company. The company refused to clarify the court documents. Charlotte Tilby refused to comment.
The G4S was previously listed in London, but it was purchased for 3.8 billion pounds in 2021 by its opponent in North America Allied Universal, after a series of scandals. In 2019, the government stripped it of the Birmingham prison administration early after inspectors found an “exceptionally violent prison”.
