Ghislaine Maxwell holds out for immunity in exchange for testimony to Congress

Her lawyer said on Tuesday that Jesslain Maxwell, a former friend who was imprisoned for disgraceful funded Jeffrey Epstein, is open to answer questions from congress – but only if immunity from future prosecution is given for her testimony.

A spokeswoman for the committee in which she wants to meet with a response to the statement of TERSE, saying that she will not consider presenting her fortress.

Maxwell’s lawyers also requested that they be provided with any questions in advance and that any interview had been identified with her after seeking her to the United States Supreme Court to attend her case.

The conditions were placed in a letter sent by Maxwell’s lawyers to MP James Kumler, the Republican President of the House of Representatives ’Supervision Committee that issued a summonses last week to be deposited in Florida Prison, where the prison sentence is required for 20 years on charges of condemnation of conspiracy with Epsatin for sexual use.

The request for an interview with it is part of the renewed and renewed interest in the Epstein epic after the Ministry of Justice’s statement in July that he would not launch any additional records of the investigation, a sudden announcement that was amazed on the Internet, conspiracy theorists and elements of President Donald Trump’s base who were hoping to find evidence of government cover -up.

Since then, the Trump administration has sought to present itself as encouraging transparency, as the administration has urges the courts to cancel the provisions of the Grand jury from the sexual follow -up and vice -prosecutor Todd Blanche in an interview with Maxwell for two days in the Florida Court last week.

In a message on Tuesday, Maxwell’s lawyers said that although their primary instinct was to call her fifth right to amend them against self -criminalization, they are open to their cooperation provided that legislators fulfill their request for immunity and other conditions.

But the supervisory committee appears to reject this direct offer.

A spokeswoman said, “The Supervisory Committee will respond to Mrs. Maxwell’s lawyer soon, but she will not consider granting Congress immunity for her testimony,” a spokeswoman said.

Separately, Maxwell’s lawyers urged the Supreme Court to review her conviction, saying that she is not receiving a fair trial. They also say that one of the ways you will witness is “publicly and frankly, in public places”, in an amnesty by Trump, who told the correspondents that such a step is within his rights, but he was not asked to do so.

He said: “She welcomes the opportunity to share the truth and dispel many of the misconceptions and scabies that this issue was afflicted from the beginning.”
