GOP congressman rips Newsom for providing illegal migrants with Medi-Cal

California Governor Viksi Hunt criticized Gavin New Zerem to provide health benefits for millions of illegal immigrants through the state’s Medi-Cal program, and he called onsom to conduct a full audit of the expansion of Medicaid in the state.

In a huge speech obtained by Fox News Digital, Hunt called the Newsom to check the full registration in California, California, issuing the results of unqualified individuals who receive benefits, and cancel the exemptions that allow the state to provide Medi-Cal to illegal immigrants.

“Given the status of Democrats in congress and California Ruler Gavin New Roosom, the ICE general opposition, it makes sense only to request transparency regarding the number of illegal immigrants in California who receive only advantages for American citizens,” Hunt wrote.

According to Wall Street JournalThe Statistical Office estimates that one in five immigrants in California are illegal foreigners.

Sources in the Ministry of Health and Humanitarian Services (HHS) says that the state of California is obligated to report Medi-Cal data to Medicare & Medicaid (CMS).

Newsom reduced the funding for illegal immigrants in the state budget that he signed late last month, where he freezed Medi Cal in California funded for new illegal immigrant applicants starting in January 2026. The ruler also plans to charge illegal immigrants on the program in 2027.

But Hunt specifically sharpened the use of news for the concessions granted by the Biden administration that allows the state to facilitate obtaining illegal immigrants.

“I am particularly concerned about the use of newsom to waive section 1115 under the Social Security law, which opened the door for illegal immigrants to reach Medicaid at the expense of American taxpayers,” Hunt added.

Article 1115 of the Social Security Law gives the federal government to relinquish the specific Medicaid requirements. The states can request exemptions from section 1115, allowing them to bend and may reduce these requirements.

“Is the Medicaid system in California completely compatible with federal law?” Hunt for interrogation. “How many other countries run by Democrats take advantage of similar gaps? It is time to shed light on this abuse and close it.”

Hunt also sent a copy of the letter to the HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy And CMS Officer Centers Dr. Mohamed Oz.

“California residents deserve transparency, accountability and commitment to the law in managing public health programs,” the letter says. “The policies that transform the limited resources from legal beneficiaries are not only violated – they also destroy the public’s confidence and threaten the sustainability of programs designed to serve our most vulnerable citizens.”
