The progressive champion, 2016 and 2020, the runner -up, warned the democratic presidential nomination that “if Kennedy and his friends are able to make people believe that vaccines are unsafe, it will be a real public health crisis for America.”
Sanders is among the increasing list of politicians and officials who warn that Kennedy, an environmental activist and the vaccine for a long time, questions late last year as Minister of Health in his second administration, endangers the health of Americans with his controversial moves.

“Mr. Kennedy and the rest of the Trump administration, repeatedly and repeatedly, wrote that they want to make America healthy again. This is a great slogan. I agree with it. The problem is that since it came to office, President Trump and Mr. Kennedy exactly the opposite,” Sanders wrote last weekend in the New York newspaper.
“Despite the overwhelming opposition to the medical community, Minister Kennedy continued a long cruciate campaign against vaccines and his call to conspiracy theories that was rejected by scientific experts again and again,” Sanders said.

Sanders’s call to Kennedy came to resign after the launch of last week from the Director of Disease Control Centers (CDC) Susan Monarerez, less than a month after her confirmation. Monares’s launch came after Kennedy’s directives to adopt new restrictions on the availability of some vaccines, including Covid-19 vaccines approvals.
Four senior officials of the Disease Control Center resigned in the protest after hours, accusing the Trump and Kennedy administration of organizing weapons for public health.

“Who supports Minister Kennedy’s opinions?” Sanders request. “Not unreliable scientists and doctors. One of his prominent” experts “who cited his copy to support his fake claims on autism and vaccines, his medical license has been canceled and his studies have declined from the medical magazine that he published.
The accident received a rare reaction by some members of congress.
But the White House defended the launch of Monarerez, as the White House press secretary Caroline Levit told reporters on Thursday that the president had “the authority to launch those who are not in line with his mission.”
