Grimes Urges Elon Musk to Respond to Their Child’s Medical Crisis

Grimes has made a public plea to ex Elon Musk urging him to respond about a “medical crisis” involving one of the former couple’s three children.

“I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation,” Grimes (real name Claire Elise Boucher), wrote via X on Thursday, February 20, per Page Six. “This requires immediate attention. If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can do that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.”

In the since-deleted post, the singer, 36, reportedly accused Musk, 53, of refusing to speak to her.

“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts call or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f—ing respond and if I have to apply public pressure then I guess that’s where we are at,” she claimed.

Grimes and Musk share three children together, sons X Æ A-Xii, 4, and Techno Mechanicus, 2, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, 3. The pair began dating in 2018 until ultimately calling it quits in September 2021.

Us Weekly has reached out to Musk’s representatives for comment.

In September 2024, Grimes sued Musk in regard to parental rights over their three children. According to court documents obtained by Us Weekly, the “Oblivion” singer filed a “petition to establish parental relationship” in the Superior Court of San Francisco.

As well as his three children with Grimes, Musk is a father to children with multiple other women.

Earlier this month, author Ashley St. Clair claimed she welcomed a baby with Musk five months ago — his 13th child.

“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father,” she wrote via X on Friday, February 14. “I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause.”

Musk also shares three children with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis: a child reportedly born in early 2024 and twins Strider and Azure, both born in November 2021.

The Tesla founder also has six children with ex-wife Justine Wilson. Musk and Wilson, 51, who were married between 2000 and 2008, share twins Vivian and Griffin, both 20, and triplets Kai, Saxon and Damian, all 18. The exes also shared son Nevada, who died of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) at 10 weeks old in 2002.
