Here’s what happened during Trump’s 12th week in office

president Donald Trump has escalated a sharp tariff against Chinese imports of the United States this week while reducing other countries during commercial negotiations this week. It also signed a series of executive orders aimed at canceling the restrictions of the Baiden era.

The Trump administration announced on Wednesday that it will reduce the mutual definitions in other countries, while it also reveals that the administration will immediately raise the customs tariff for Chinese goods to 145 %. In response, China raised the definitions of American goods to 125 %.

Trump revealed the historical definitions at a ceremony in the Roses Park at the White House to attend the “Make America Wealthy” event again on April 2, stressing that these new duties will generate new jobs for American workers.

The customs tariff plan put a 10 % foundation tax on all imports of the United States, as well as the definitions allocated to countries that put a higher tariff on American goods. The basic definitions entered 10 % on Saturday, while others were in effect on Wednesday in the middle of the night.

But Trump announced in a publication on the social truth on Wednesday that the mutual tariff announced last week will remain suspended for 90 days, and in this period in which the two countries will face a tariff only 10 %.

“At some point, we hope in the near future, that China will realize that the days of tearing the United States of America and other countries are no longer sustainable or acceptable,” Trump posted on the social media platform in fact on Wednesday.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessin said the definitions indicate that China contradicts the rest of the world.

“China is the most unbalanced economy in the history of the modern world,” Pisent told reporters on Wednesday. “It is the largest source of American trade problems, and it is in fact a problem for the rest of the world.”

Shipbuilding, Water pressure executive orders

Trump also signed an executive this week aimed at stimulating the shipbuilding industry in the United States, amid fears that China is the United States’ superiority in production.

China is responsible for more than 50 % of global shipbuilding, compared to only 0.1 % of the United States, according to the Center for Strategic and International Studies.

The executive of the agencies requires formulating a marine action plan and directing the representative of trade in the United States to submit a list of recommendations to deal with “anti -competition measures in China in the shipbuilding industry”, among other things.

Trump ends the water regulations dating back to the Biden era to “make bathing in America great again”

Trump also signed an executive to reflect the conservation measures during the Obama era and the age of Biden, which limits water pressure in the shower in an attempt to “make the showering great again.” Former President Barack Obama initially imposed water pressure restrictions, and Trump sought to reduce some of them during his first term.

However, former President Joe Biden brought this measure, which restricted multi -name shower heads to launch more than 2.5 gallons of water per minute.

Trump said on Wednesday: “I love to take a shower, take care of my beautiful hair,” Trump said on Wednesday. “I must stand in the bathroom for 15 minutes until it becomes wet. It comes out with drip, drip, drip. It is ridiculous.”

She is preparing for talks with Iran

The Trump administration also revealed this week’s plans for the upcoming talks to negotiate with Iran on Saturday. While Trump repeated that these discussions will be “direct nuclear talks”, Iran has retreated to this description and described it as “indirect” negotiations instead.

The Middle East envoy will travel to Stefer Wittouf to Amman on Saturday and is scheduled to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragshi. However, Iran confirmed that the discussions will be held through a third party instead.
