Hey You Guys, It’s Lego’s November Releases
November is always a very quiet month for Lego, coming after a big summer and fall calendar and standing in front of the mountain of new sets that always come in January. But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist some Good things are coming.
Only two Lego sets will be released at the beginning of November (with a mysterious third set releasing later in the month – more on that later), including the recently revealed set Fools A luxurious brick built aquarium and collection. Read on for more details, including the rewards you can earn this month with your purchases.
Lego ideas Fools
The newest addition to the Lego Ideas line brings the beloved ’80s movie to life in the form of a very clever replica of One-Eyed Willy’s pirate ship. One side faithfully recreates the exterior of the car Hellwhile the other recreates a host of iconic scenes from throughout the film, from the iconic bone organ to a series of traps the kids encounter, and even a reference to the famous deleted octopus attack scene. Plus, you’ll get 12 minifigures, including all the Goonies — Brand, Andy, Data, Mouth, Mikey, Steve, Chunk, and Sloth — plus the evil Fratelli family and even the remains of Willie himself ($330, available here from 11/1 to 11/3 for Lego Insiders, starting with general release on 4/11).
Lego tropical aquarium icons

The other big Lego release this month is this very artistic aquarium set. There’s not much water to be found in this 3D model, other than the back panel inside the “tank” itself, but it does come packed with a large number of buildable underwater plants and animals, including moving coral reefs, sinking crabs, and even moving and wiggling fish. Over 4,000 pieces are registered, which is a huge size, with the finished model coming in at over 20.5 inches wide – you’ll have to get rid of your actual aquarium if you want to display this! ($480, available here from 11/13 to 11/15 for Lego Insiders, starting with general release on 11/16)
