Hongkong Post suspends the postal service for items containing goods to US

Honging Post, Hong Kong Postal Services Ministry, announced on Wednesday that they “will not collect any so -called definitions on behalf of the United States and will suspend the acceptance of postal materials containing goods directed to the United States.”

In a statement, the Hongong Post said it would suspend the mail service by sea and mail for mail for goods that contain goods to the United States starting from April 27, saying that the reason is “bullying” on the American customs tariff.

“As for sending the elements to the United States, the audience in Hong Kong must be ready to pay exorbitant and unreasonable fees because of the unreasonable and bullying US actions. Other postal items that contain documents only without good will not be affected.”

The United States said earlier that it would eliminate the treatment of minimal customs duties of the postal elements sent from Hong Kong to the United States and increase the customs tariff for postal elements that contain goods to the United States from May 2.

Hong Kong is working as a free port and does not impose import duties, although he seems to have fallen into the policies of Trump’s tariffs.

“The United States is not after our definitions – it is after our survival,” said Xia Paulong, who heads the Hong Kong and Macau Office. “Anyone who tries to bring us back to poverty and weakness is our enemy.”
