House of Representatives approves ‘big, beautiful bill’ in victory for Donald Trump

Donald Trump obtained the approval of the leading tax and spending legislation after the House of Representatives approved the draft law, as the US President handed over a political victory six months after his second term.
The vote came from 218 to 214 of the House of Representatives on Thursday after the leader of the democratic minority, Hakim Jeffrez, spoke against what he called the “ugly” legislation for eight hours and 44 minutes, in a symbolic challenge.
The approval of the House of Representatives came hours after the President’s abolition of the Republicans in the House of Representatives who threatened to suspend what Trump calls “his beautiful, beautiful bill.”
“Are you tired of winning yet?” Parliament Speaker Mike Johnson said in a letter to the room before the final vote.
“We have a responsible government and responsibility towards people again,” Johnson added, as he praised the tax discounts in the bill and money to enhance border security, and two promises from the Trump campaign.
The president will sign the bill in law at 5 pm on Friday in Washington, according to White House press secretary Caroline Levitte, and according to the deadline he imposed on himself on July 4.
Legislation extends huge tax discounts from Trump’s first administration, which was partially pushed by sharp cuts to medicaid, the public health insurance scheme for low -income and disabled Americans, and other social welfare programs.
The draft law will also decrease tax credits in the Biden Energy era, with an increase in investment in the army and money for the Trump campaign to immigrate.
It was expected to add more than 3 meters to the US debt in the long run, raising fears between economists.
Jeffrez, the leader of the Democratic Parliament, attacked the “devastating consequences” of “this reckless republican budget.”
The Senate approved this measure on Tuesday after Vice President JD Vance made a decisive vote.
“Congratulations to everyone. Sometimes I doubt that we will do it by July 4!” Vans said at X on Thursday afternoon. “But now we have delivered significant tax cuts and resources to secure the borders. The promises offered, and the reserved promises!”
The approval of the House of Representatives fits a loud start to separate Trump II. The President has launched a sweeping tariff, and announced sweeping restrictions on immigration and strengthening the executive authority.
In foreign policy, he made air strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, but he struggled to achieve the peace deals he promised in Gaza and Ukraine.
The tax bill has always been essential for Trump and his senior officials, to a large extent because it implements many aspects of his campaign for 2024, including tax relief for advice, additional work and fossil fuel support.
But to secure the vote, the president needed to distort the arms of the Republicans concerned with the impact of the draft law on national debt and health savings, as they attack members of the House of Representatives in the form of explaining those who opposed this.
The president had to overcome a campaign to stop the legislation by billionaire Elon Musk, who funded his campaign but fell with him last month.
Musk said that he will pour money in the election campaigns to dismiss Republicans who support legislation that could add trillion dollars to national debt.
The draft law includes an increase of 5TN in the roof of the federal debt-the largest one-time height of this extent, which gets the amount of what the government can borrow.
In the end, all members of Trump – Kentucky Thomas Massi and Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania – legislate legislation.
However, every democracy opposed a draft law that its tax provisions said that it will benefit the wealthy with an overwhelming majority, while spending discounts will leave millions of Americans without insurance on health care.
Trump has maintained that Bill’s tax cuts would present a new era of high growth. However, the largest financial impact in the near -term in the legislation will come from preventing an automatic increase in income taxes that would have come into effect in 2026.
The US dollar index fell steadily since Trump took office in January, reflecting the nerves of investors about the high deficit. But the prices of American stocks have recovered since a decrease in April caused by Washington’s aggressive tariff plans.
The legislation has already set the political battle lines before the renewal elections next year.
Republicans argue that they have received Trump’s electoral promises, while Democrats are attacked by the shift in their middle -class and low -income families.
Despite criticism about the financial impact of the draft law from some in American companies, American business groups have largely supported legislation due to tax extensions.
The round table, which represents the executives of some of the largest American companies, described the legislation as a “tremendous victory” “that would help American investment, innovation and economic growth for years to come.”
However, clean energy groups are set for support discounts. Hospitals that serve low -income communities that depend on government health care are to be negatively affected.
Trump, who designed the Bell Corridor as a gift on Independence Day to America, plans to hold a gathering on Thursday in Dis Muen, Iowa, the Western Wilayat of the West, where he scored initial victories in his successful presidential campaign and 2024.
