House Republican campaign arm touts record fundraising haul

Since it aims to defend its high majority in the House of Representatives in the renewal elections next year, the National congress Committee (NRCC) is the beginning of the fundraising.

NRCC, the arm of the Republican Party Campaign in the House of Representatives, announced on Tuesday that it had “crashed the records” with $ 21.5 million to collect donations last month, which says it is the best month in the committee in the year and the best march in the history of NRCC.

The donation collection last month fueled a total of 36.7 million dollars during the first quarter of January to 2025. NRCC offered that the collection of donations in the past three months was the strongest first quarter of the year, as it exceeded approximately $ 11 million in what it brought during the same period in the 2024 electoral cycle.

NRCC also highlighted that she had received 23.9 million dollars in April and that she had paid debts to $ 4.5 million, which she said was before her pace in the 2024 session.

“NRCC is on the attack and is fueled by an indisputable momentum and widespread support,” Mike Marinella, NRCC spokesman.

Marinella claimed that “while Democrats go out outside the house, we receive in 2026 with unparalleled energy, ready to develop the majority of our house and continue to provide results to the American people.”

The first distances in the first quarter of NRCC do not include $ 35.2 million, which it says has brought in fundraising earlier this month in the country’s capital, which was led by President Donald Trump. This money will be included in the second quarter of the committee.

Was this month’s elections in Wisconsin and Florida a crystal ball for the things that will come in the middle of next year?

The DCCC Campaign Committee (DCCC) did not announce after collecting donations in the first quarter as this report was published. DCCC exceeded the amount of NRCC 11.1 million dollars to $ 9.2 million in fundraising in February.

Republicans are currently controlling the House of Representatives with a fragile majority 220-213, with two vacancies of blue who are likely to return in the hands of Democrats when special elections are held in those areas later this year.

The collection of donations is a decisive element in the GoP game plan to maintain control.

When he was asked more about it when it comes to defending the majority of the House of Representatives, Speaker of the NRCC Council, Richard Hudson, said in a digital interview in Fox News earlier this month: “Democrats have a structural feature when it comes to collecting donations. They always seem to have mountains of money. So I think the amount of money they most likely collect is the only thing that really cares.”

“We have to collect enough money to keep pace with the Democrats and make sure that our candidates can get their message,”

DCCC aims for nearly three dozens of Republican -controlled seats in the room because it aims to enhance the majority. Earlier this month, the Democrats Campaign in the House of Representatives issued a target list in 2026, which included 35 seats controlled by the Republican Party, and launched an effort to collect donations for the candidates eventually in each of the provinces.

DCCC stressed that their movements indicate that “the Democrats are on the attack and are preparing to win a majority in 2026.”
