First on the fox: Florida’s Republican congress member is looking to record many executive measures of President Donald Trump related to local energy production through the legislative measures he took on Monday.

Representative Bayron Donalds, approved by Trump to replace the Florida Governor Ltd., Ron Desantis, the “American Nuclear Energy Promotion law” in an attempt to record four executive measures of the president related to increased nuclear energy production and its use in the United States. Trump signed orders late last month.

“In November, the American people gave us an unprecedented mandate to implement President Trump’s agenda in the first America. Now more than ever, it is up to Congress to confirm the end of the deal,” Donalds told Fox News Digital. “Energy security is national security, and it is necessary to restore our nation in the nuclear space.”

On May 23, Trump signed four executive orders aimed at accelerating the development and deployment of nuclear energy in the United States.

Nuclear energy is one of the “most important things” that Trump focused on: Rick Perry

One of these orders, “spreading the techniques of the advanced nuclear reactor of national security”, directs the army to build a nuclear reactor “at a local military base or installation” by September 30, 2028. The matter also directs the Minister of Energy to clarify the first artificial intelligence centers that are running in the nuclear energy field in the Energy Department 48. 30 months. Finally, in addition to these and other measures, the country’s broad executive order is directed to follow up at least 20 new international nuclear cooperation agreements.

Meanwhile, one of the orders that Donalds’s legislation seeks to record defense and transportation secretaries and the director of the administration and budget office to prepare a comprehensive report within 240 days of signing the request. The report is supposed to include a national strategy to support consumer nuclear fuel management and other “high -level waste”, evaluation of current re -processing and recycling efforts related to consumer nuclear fuel and recommendations on how to improve it, and a program to develop methods and technologies to transfer nuclear fuel used and unused.

It also includes many other timelines, including one to publish a report on how to enhance the ability of local uranium conversion and enrichment capabilities. It also imposes the government’s time schedules to update nuclear energy policies to stimulate production, and says that at least 10 large nuclear reactors must be under construction no later than 2030.

The last two things from Trump, which Donalds seeks to write down, aims significantly to reduce the regulatory burdens surrounding the production of nuclear energy.

The first two seeks to reform the Nuclear Regulation Committee (NRC) to help accelerate the production of local nuclear energy. It aims to get rid of what he describes as excessive caution for NRC who hindered the growth of nuclear energy in the United States.

Trump’s second -focused nuclear energy is aimed at repairing the Ministry of Energy’s nuclear reactor testing, in an attempt to accelerate the development of nuclear power plants. For example, the Ministry of Energy officials requires reviewing internal procedures to ensure that the new reactors operate within two years when the builders apply to their construction.

Nuclear energy safety risks have been a discussion between Washington policymakers. Part of Trump’s orders is to accelerate some of the safety regulations that his administration claims to suffocate local nuclear energy.

However, nuclear energy experts, such as Ernest Moniz, the Energy Minister of Obama and the nuclear physicist, said that Trump’s move to repair NRC may be a problem.

“The reorganization and reduction of NRC independence may lead to the hasty publication of advanced reactors with safety and security defects,” Muniz told the Washington Post. “The main event, like those in the past, will increase regulatory requirements and restore nuclear energy for a long time.”

Others, like Paul Dikman, a senior former employee in NRC, said that Trump’s reforms had no “scientific basis.”

“You cannot do this from Fiat,” Dikman told the “Post” newspaper.
