How the Farm Industry Spied on Animal Rights Activists and Pushed the FBI to Treat Them as Terrorists

Hundreds of email messages The internal documents reviewed by WIRD reveal the major pressure groups and representatives of the American agricultural industry that led a continuous campaign and is often secret to wiping, defamation of reputation and the suppression of animal rights organizations for nearly a decade, while relying on corporate spies to infiltrate meetings and serve as a bump in FBI.

The documents, which were often obtained through the requests of public records by the non-profit property of the people, show in detail the secret and long-term cooperation between the Directorate of weapons of comprehensive destruction at the FBI (WMDD)-who today include activists in the field of Palestinian rights and the last wave targeting Teslas-and the agricultural transformation of animals (AA). Livestock breeders, veterinarians and others in the American Food Supply Series.

At least 2018, documents show that AAA provides federal agents intelligence in animal rights groups such as direct work everywhere (DXE), with emails and meetings that reflect the task of the broader industry to persuade authorities that activists are a prominent “Bioteroorism” threat to the United States. Spies who work in AAA while cooperating with the FBI went to a company in activity meetings, obtaining photographs, audio recordings and other strategic materials. The group’s relations were used with law enforcement to help protect the actors in the industry from general audit, pressure on investigations in its strongest critics, and to reformulate the purpose and efforts made by animal rights demonstrators as a unique threat to national security.

The records also showed that the state authorities cited the protests as a reason to hide information about the outbreak of diseases on the factory farms from the public.

Zoe Rosenberg, a student at the University of California at Berkeley and a cruel investigator of animals at DXE, says that she is barely surprised that strong private private sector groups are working to wipe the organization, but she finds her work with the paradoxical police. “If any person should have law enforcement ear, then the investigators of animal cruelty offered violations of the law, which leads to real animals and the death of horrific death,” I told WIRD.

By WIRE in 2019, DXE is an animal rights organization at the base level designated for non -violent direct procedures, including secret operations that often rescue animals and document practices on factory farms that are considered inhumane.

Rosenberg, 22, is accused in California to remove four chicken from one of its slaughterhouses in Sonoma in 2023. In addition to minor charges such as infringement of others’ property, she was also suffered to become a crime of conspiracy to commit these criminals – an appreciation charge that Sonoma’s justified lawyer by Rosenberg. “

According to Rosenberg, DXE relies on biological security protocols that exceed the “above” industry standards, including a bird investigator for a whole week before entering the farmer. “All our investigators before entering a hot water and soap facility and put a newly washed clothes that were well washed and dried on high heat to kill viruses and bacteria,” she says. “Everything is cleared and then sterilized again when leaving the facility.”

Rosenberg does not deny the removal of chicken, called Poppy, ASTER, IVY and Azalea. “Generally, if we feel that an animal will die from neglect or abuse if we do not get them out of the elbow, then we feel that it is justified and necessary to intervene to save their lives,” she says. Her lawyer, Chris Karwai, says DXE has tried to report allegations of health violations in the facility to the “pointless point”. Rosenberg says that reporting alleged violations often leads to bounce between offices; “An endless episode of any agency who does not want to take responsibility and impose animal care laws.”
