Hubble captures a galactic hat for its birthday

A newly released image of the charming Hubble Space The Sombreo Galaxy, which was called similar to the famous Mexican hat.

Galaxy may seem familiar to you, because it is one known and photographed by the James Web telescope. When webb looks at the wavelength of infrared while Hubble looks primarily in the visible light part of the spectrum, telescopes get different display methods of the same object. In this case, the SOBRERO image shows more inner structure of the galaxy, while the Hubble image shows the glowing cloud of dust.

Hubble also photographed this galaxy before, on its way to 2003, but the new image uses the latest image processing technologies to choose more details in the Galaxy disk, as well as more stars and galaxies in the background. Hubble scientists have chosen to reconsider this galaxy as part of the thirty -fifth Hubble birthday celebrations because it is a common goal for amateur astronomers. “The galaxy is very faded so that it cannot be monitored with an unpredictable vision, but it can be easily seen with a modest amateur telescope,” explains Hubble. “Looks at the Earth, the galaxy extends over a distance equivalent to almost a third of the moon’s diameter.

The galaxy gets a distinctive look due to the angle that we see from it. When you think about a spiral galaxy, you usually see face face, as if they were circular, so you can see weapons communicate from the center. However, the observation angle means that the galaxy is somewhat mysterious as well. Nobody knows whether sombrero has a spiral arms like the Milky Way, or whether it is a more mysterious and less definition of the galaxy called an oval galaxy.
