HUD, DHS join forces to prevent illegal immigrants from utilizing public housing

Christie Naim, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Scott Turner and Minister of Internal Security (DHS) has established a new initiative between agencies aimed at ensuring that they do not go to illegal immigrants.

Al -Sakran signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday, enhanced by partnership, which will lead to the end of what they call a “defeated embezzlement” of the public housing resources funded by taxpayers who go to illegal immigrants instead of American citizens. The new initiative will facilitate the exchange of data between the two clients through the newly created lines, according to a press statement on the effort, adding that the old American warriors benefit from this step.

“US tax dollars must be used for the benefit of American citizens, especially when it comes to the issue of what is pressure like the housing crisis in our nation,” Turner said on Monday. “This new agreement will take advantage of resources, including technology and employees, to ensure that the American people are the only priority when it comes to public housing. We will continue to work closely with the Ministry of National Security to increase our resources to the maximum and put American citizens first.”

In total, for every HUD, there are approximately 9 million people living in dwellings supported throughout the country. Meanwhile, about 59 % of non -citizen families – those that include green cards or illegal immigrants – use one or more program of public aid program, which costs taxpayers up to $ 42 billion annually, according to the Immigration Studies Center, a group that defends low immigration levels.

Tens of millions of dollars-at least-went to housing for migrants, including fully paid residences in hotels for some, during the Biden administration. Some states, such as Pennsylvania and Arizona, have approved measures during the Biden administration that aims to ensure that illegal immigrants are not taking public housing resources from Americans who need them.

President Donald Trump, shortly after his inauguration, signed an executive thing that calls for the end of the illegal immigrants for public resources.

“The Biden administration gave the priority of illegal foreigners over our citizens, including by giving illegal housing to finance taxpayers at the expense of the Americans. It is no longer anymore,” Nayyun said in a statement on Monday. “The entire government will work together to determine the abuse, exploit the general advantages and ensure that those in this country illegally do not receive federal benefits or other financial incentives to stay illegally. If you are an illegal immigrant, you must leave now. The renewed train has ended.”

As part of the new initiative, Hud will provide a full -time employee to help operations at the Federal Government Command Center, which facilitates the exchange of information between agencies during national crises.
