ICE nearing historic deal with IRS to aid in deportations: report

The internal revenue service (IRS) and the enforcement of American immigration and customs (ICE) is close to an agreement that allows ICE to access taxpayer information to determine the location of illegal immigrants subject to deportation.

The historical agreement would allow ICE to provide the names and addresses of illegal immigrants to verify the tax department’s tax records, which is a shift in the long tax authority policy that aims to maintain strictly taxpayers information, according to a report in the Washington Post.

The current draft of the agreement, obtained by the Washington Post, would limit the Ice to confirm the addresses of illegal immigrants who have final removal orders, while the Minister of Internal Security Christie and the agency’s ice manager Todd Leon will be the only two persons authorized to submit requests to the Tax Authority.

The draft agreement states to verify the verification of individuals “taking into account the criminal investigation” to violate the Immigration law, taking advantage of a narrow exception to the laws of the Tax Authority that allows the use of taxpayers data to assist criminal investigations.

The report indicates that some veteran tax authority officials expressed their concerns about the agreement, on the pretext that the narrow exception was only intended for criminal investigations and not to enforce immigration. Officials also worry that this policy will hinder the collection of taxes from illegal immigrants, who are still undergoing federal taxes despite their illegal presence in the country.

The report notes that for years the Tax Authority listed on the assurances of illegal immigrants that their tax information is secret.

The news comes at a time when President Donald Trump continued to intensify the deportation effort he promised in the campaign’s path, as the president is trying to use every resource available to help immigration officials.

The Tax Authority employee has long resigned Doug Odonel, who was working at the Agency’s Tax Authority last month, suddenly after 38 years of work at the agency after refusing to request the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) to more than 700,000 illegal immigrants.

O’Donnell was replaced by Melanie Krause, which the report referred to showed more preparedness to partnership with DHS.

The agreement has not been completed between the Tax and ice Authority. None of the agency immediately responded to the Fox News Digital request for comment.
