Fort Knox gold and a live stream? Elon Musk says it ‘would be awesome’

On Sunday, CEO of Tesla and Head of government Efficiency Department (DOGE) expressed his support for the creation of a group of Fort Knox and his golden reserves.

In response to a question about the musk examination of gold in Fort Knox, the billionaire said he believed it “would be great Fort Fort Nox.”

The deposit of American alloys in Fort Knox is one of the many places throughout the country, as the United States government maintains its golden reserves. It is located in Kentucky.

“I mean, that will be really fun. After all, it is actually gone to the American people, so the American people seem to me, the right to see their gold,” he said.

Musk said that he is “everything” and that President Donald Trump “says he is interested in doing this, so we hope that will happen.”

The theories of conspiracy around the state of gold in Fort Nox were rampant on social media, and the musk and Trump also speculated whether the alloys are still present in very safe deposits, saying they need to be confirmed.

“Who confirms that gold did not steal from Fort Nox?” “Perhaps there, perhaps not,” wrote Doge Head on social media in mid -February, equal that “perhaps there, maybe not.”

Musk has been weighing on Fort Knox Livestream several times in recent weeks.

In mid -February, for example, he said on X, “It would be great to make a direct video wandering in Fort Knox.” He also said that “the classifications on a live broadcast of Fort Nox will be” two expressions of the fire.

Both current and former treasury trustees said that gold was present in Fort Nox.

In August 2017, Stephen Mnuchin, who held the position of Minister of Treasury in the Trump Administration First, made a trip to Fort Nox, according to the United States of America. He was accompanied by the governor of Kentaki Matt Bevin and members of congress.

“Gold was there when I visited it. I hope that no one would move it. I’m sure they didn’t do it.” CNBC said last month. “I was the first minister of the Treasury that I go there, I think, for 50 years. There are very dangerous security protocols, clearly, to protect the gold that I cannot talk about. But we went, and we saw, and if President Trump wants to review it, it is clear that this is something that can be done easily.”

Fort Knox is a home for 147.3 million ounces of TOY from Gold Bullion in deep storage, according to the data published by the Ministry of Treasury in late February.

How much golden reserves hold by the United States?

This represents the “book value” of $ 6.2 billion. However, based on the price of the precious metal from Tuesday, the value of the Fort Knox gold is more than $ 459.2 billion.

“The gold that was removed only was very small quantities used to test the purity of gold during regular audits,” said the US mint on a web page for depositing American alloys in Fort Nox.

In general, the US Treasury has approximately 261.5 million ounces of gold of gold and gold coins “across the various sites that were maintained in the American Treasury” in late February.
