Trump touts ‘tremendous success’ achieving global peace through strength

Speaking with correspondents in the Oval Office after a meeting representing an intermediate peace agreement in Africa, president Donald Trump described his administration in achieving peace deals around the world, which he said is possible because world leaders “respect our country again.”

“We were not a respectable country,” Trump said. “Just one year ago we had incompetent president. We had bad people revolving around this office, this beautiful beautiful office,” Trump said. “I, I think, are evil intentions. They were, they could not be with this stupidity, I mean, they have evil intentions, but the world respects our country again.”

Commenting on a fresh African peace, which will end a decades -long struggle between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Rwanda, Trump said it was a “huge penetration.”

“Within a few months, we have now achieved peace between India, Pakistan, Israel, Iran, DRC and Rwanda, and two others as well, Serbia [and Kosovo]He said.

He also described his NATO journey as “very successful”, saying that the American allies are committed to spending more than one trillion dollars in defense.

“We have achieved some tremendous success,” the president said.

Trump also mentioned successful strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites and a subsequent ceasefire between Israel and Iran.

He described the situation in Gaza as “terrible”, but he expressed optimism that may soon be a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
