Ivanka Trump’s company works to expand access to fresh produce

Ivanka Trump is trying to expand the arrival of the Americans to fresh products through the company that she participated in its founding two years ago.

“Many of the challenges we face today – from the high costs of health care and chronic diseases to food waste and pressure on small farmers – can be tracked to a common root: how we grow, distribute and reach our food,” Trump posted on Friday to Instagram.

In 2023, Trump, the daughter of president Donald Trump, participated in establishing the planet with Melissa Akraman, who is its CEO. It is described as a profitable company for purposes with a task not only to support only young farmers, but also increase access to fresh products, reduce waste and advanced nutrition, according to their participation.

On its website, the company described that it led national food relief efforts, feed the growth in categories for farmers and retailers, and built the supply chain programs to bear the difficult conditions.

“We are focusing on developable solutions and full harvesting sources that get fruits and vegetables, including the surplus and crops that are ignored, from farmers to groceries, food services companies, retailers, food boxes as a doctor and emergency nutrition programs,” Trump wrote at the Post Social media on Friday.

Its post comes at a time when Robert F. Kennedy Junior “Make America Healthy again” is a major axis in his term as Minister of Health and Humanitarian Services.

In 2023, the US Department of Agriculture found that 18 million families (13.5 %) were unsafe from food, which means that they had difficulty at some time during the year providing enough food for all its members due to a lack of resources.

“The inconsistency access to healthy food has harmful health effects,” Erica Kenny, a professor of public health assistant at Harvard Public Health in Boston, said in a statement. “Many people are stuck in eating food that is likely to have a chronic disease.”
