Jack Daniel’s parent company warns of pressure from cannabis, weight-loss drugs

Executive officials of the parent company of Jacques Daniel, Brown Foreman, warned that the company is witnessing pressure from hemp, medicines for weight loss and dull demand of the Z.
Lawson Whiteing, CEO of Brown Foreman, told analysts in calling profits that “the same adults” is the reason for a lower demand for alcohol.

The economy also plays a factor, noting that consumers do not have a lot of dispensed income and give priority to leave and residence.

“They go to the grocery store, and in some cases, I think that the souls have come out of the basket a little. This is not great,” said Whiteing.

However, he said that the souls still take their share in the market from beer and wine. He also pointed out that although the specialization is not the same as it was, “it was a little bit of stagnation,” which he said was mostly good news.

However, the Director of Beni Foreman Lian Kningham said that the company expected the operating environment to remain volatile in the fiscal year 2026.
“We believe that through all this kind of constant uncertainty that the consumer will remain at this continuous level now,” Knngham said.
