Janice Combs is clapping back at Netflix following the release of a documentary about Diddy
“I am writing this statement to correct some of the falsehoods presented in the Netflix series Sean Combs: The Reckoning, which was released on December 2, 2025,” Janice said in a statement to Deadline. “These inaccuracies regarding my son Sean’s upbringing and family life were deliberately made to mislead viewers and further damage our reputation.”
The Netflix documentary series consists of four comprehensive episodes detailing Diddy’s life from childhood to the present day. The episodes also feature shocking allegations against Diddy by former Bad Boy Records employees and the “Making the Band” reality stars. According to Janis, Netflix took a “raunchy” route to “promote the series,” which is executive produced by longtime Diddy foe 50 Cent.

Janice Combs wants to remove the “lies” about her son

In her statement to Deadline, Janice made a startling request, urging Netflix to publicly retract any “smears, lies, and misleading statements” about her and her son.
A spokesperson for Diddy’s team shared a similar message almost immediately after the production was released, accusing the producers and participants of the series of having “personal grievances” with the rapper. They also criticized the streaming giant for rehashing previous stories that they claim are untrue. “The project is built around a one-sided narrative driven by a publicly acknowledged opponent, and it repeats allegations without context, evidence or verification.”
Netflix has defended itself against the claims, according to The Blast, calling them “false.”

When the letter was read aloud, O’Day said one read, “I don’t just want to have sex with you. I can see you with some bastard telling you what to do. I make my woman do what I tell her to do, and she likes it.”
