She did not share details of her conversation with the actor, but revealed that they plan to move forward with their joint projects. The two have been working on a documentary called “Chronicles of Disney” and a film generated entirely by artificial intelligence called “Stardust Future.”
In her statement to the media, Chu also thanked everyone involved in the dispute resolution process, including Renner’s attorney, Marty Singer.

However, Renner’s lawyer criticized Cho, noting that no agreement had been reached to resolve the actor’s “significant, multi-million dollar claims against her.”
Singer added: “I have no knowledge of why Ye Zhu would make up a story that a deal was made with her since she was notified that there was no deal with her, including using Jeremy Renner in an animated film when he had only agreed to be in a documentary.”

The dispute between Zhou and Renner began after their relationship became strained following an incident at the actor’s home.
According to Cho, the two were discussing the logistics of The Chronicles of Disney when Renner suddenly decided to drink some wine.
She claimed Renner drank an entire bottle on his own and then experienced mood swings that led to him screaming for nearly two hours.
Cho further stated that his behavior made her fear for her safety and prompted her to reach out to her loved ones to keep them informed.
