Jobs report: US economy added positions in March as payrolls grew at faster pace


The American economy continued to add jobs in March, and job gains speeded a faster than a month despite economic uncertainty.

The Ministry of Labor announced on Friday that employers added 228,000 jobs in March, above the Economists of LSEG, who expected 135,000 jobs.

The unemployment rate was 4.2 %, slightly higher than a month and above economists’ expectations.

The number of added jobs was reviewed in the previous two months, as the creation of job opportunities in January was revised by 14,000 profits ranging from 125,000 to 111,000; While February was 34,000 from a profit from 151,000 to 117,000.
