Johnson confident House can pass Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’ by Memorial Day

On Sunday, parliament Speaker Mike Johnson defended the “aggressive” schedule that drives him to strengthen the “great and beautiful draft law” of President Donald Trump, saying that the House of Representatives remains on the right path to pass the “historic” legislative package on the day of the anniversary.

The House of Representatives Budget Committee will hold at 10 pm on Sunday night after voting to pay more than 1100 pages, “One Nice Bill Law” on Friday, when five Republicans with Democrats stood up to flood the Trump tax bill.

“We are on the right path, we are working around the clock to present the nation -forming legislation to the American people as soon as possible,” Johnson said during the emergence of “Fox News Sunday” regarding the ongoing negotiations. “All our 11 committees have concluded their work, spent less and saved more than we expected at first. It is really a chance once in our generation here.”

After the progress of the draft law through the Budget Committee, Johnson said that the plan is to transfer the legislative package to the House of Representatives Bases Committee by the middle of the week and then to the House of Representatives by the end of the week, “Therefore, we meet the deadline on our initial memorial day.”

Johnson said: “It is very important that people understand the reason for our aggression in the schedule and why this is very important,” Johnson said. “This is the car that we will provide through the state that the American people have provided to us during the recent elections. You will have historical savings for the American people, the historical tax reduction of American workers, and historical investments in border security.

He added: “At the same time, we are restoring American energy dominance, and we rebuild the defensive industrial base, and we guarantee strengthening programs such as Medicaid and Snap for American citizens who need and deserve them and do not smile by illegal foreigners and people who cannot receive them and cheat the system.”

Johnson repeated that conducting tax cuts in Trump for the year 2017 permanently by 2026 is very important and certain that the package also eliminates taxes on additional work and advice – the Trump campaign promised 2024. He also said that it also includes a new tax exemption for the elderly on social security and reduces taxes on “job facilities, which will help everyone across the country at the same time such as stimulating American production and manufacturing.”

Johnson said: “This is a big thing. We cannot fail, and we will accomplish it to the American people,” Johnson said.

Representative South Carolina Ralph Norman and Vice Vice Texas Chip Roy are among the critics of the Johnson party who say that the speaker is not serious about cutting spending. They want to implement work requirements for the beneficiaries of Medicaid adults who are close to 2029-a point of view that Johnson told “Fox News Sunday” that he is sharing it, but the speaker added that there is concern about the state’s ability to “re-equip its systems and ensure the verification process.”

Johnson said: “We are working through all these details, and we will accomplish them, but I will tell you what, this is the biggest spending reduction in at least three decades, for a longer period. It is historical,” adding that the package has support from the Ross’s management and budget office, as well as “nearly 500 organizations throughout the conservative spectrum” including groups responsible for work.

Johnson said: “We are our chance to do this. It is once in a generation, as I said, and we cannot dispel it,” Johnson said.

The spokesman said that although he is confident that he would be able to reach a compromise on Medicaid’s work requirements to relax on internal conflicts, the Republican leadership does not expect a single democratic vote for the draft law.

Johnson said: “This means that they will seem to record the largest tax increase in the history of the United States, which will happen by default after the end of this year if we do not accomplish this task. We have to accomplish this task, and we will do so,” Johnson said.
