Apple tries to delay ruling that bars it from taking a cut on external app payments

In an attempt to protect the flow of valuable revenue, Apple tries to delay the court’s decision that forces the company to allow iOS developers in the United States to redirect users to external payment systems and avoid paying a commission to the iPhone maker.

The company submitted an emergency request late on Wednesday, and asked the Court of Appeal to grant a partial residence on a previous ruling.

An American court sentenced last week to the epic games in a long -term case against Apple, after Judge IPhone Gonzales Rogers found that Apple did not comply with an order that was presented in 2021.

The new Apple ruler is forced to allow the applications on the United States application store to include features that can redirect users to external systems to make purchases, stop collecting commissions on these payments, and stop showing “fear screens”-warning messages from users of making purchases within the application.

Apple now requires staying on the ban on “charging a set of transactions that users make via external purchase links, and putting any conditions on a language or setting links or other references to external purchase options.”
