Acer’s new gaming lineup includes an 18-inch AI laptop and a 720Hz monitor

Acer maintains two different lines of the game product, both of which are updated in IFA 2025. Among the new gear is a new laptop by Predator, a high -drilling high -drilling screen and multiple nitro portable laptops at the Nitro level.

The updated predator 18p AI is a stronger version of Predator Helio 18 that the company presented in CES 2024, as “AI at desktop level” is offered in what is still technically portable. Inside, you can access the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor, which is the GPU Nvidia GeForCe RTX 5090 and 6 TB of SSD storage. Acer contains new games desktop computers, Predator Ourion 7000 and Orion 5000, which can use GeForce RTX 5090 or 5080 GPU, respectively. The most exciting advertisement, though, is the new Predator. The Predator X27u F8 screen is OLED size 26.5 inches, 2,560 x 1440 and the update of 720 Hz is ridiculed if you are ready to run the screen at 720 pixels instead of 1440 pixels. On the nitro side of the house, Acer has new laptops for displayed games. The Acer Nitro V 16 can be built with the Intel Core 9 and GPU mobile processor Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070. With NVIDIA Inside, the NVIDIA DLSS 4 laptop supports to improve graphics performance. The laptop also comes with a 2560 x 1600 screen, which reaches an update of 180 Hz for fluid movement during fast -pace games. Acer Nitro V 16S, though similar, focuses more on transportation. The laptop has an Intel Core 9 processor, but only the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, which is the 180 Hz screen itself, in a 19.9 mm metal body. These are not MacBook, but they are better than nothing.

Acer pairing new laptops with a set of new Nitro screens. The largest option is the 39.7 -inch curved curved screen, which uses a 5K panel, which has 5W compact amplifiers and supports AMD Freesenc Premium to play fluid. If you like 5K but you don’t want a curved screen, there is a 27 -inch XV270x nitro, which includes 2W amplifiers. You can get similar speakers on the Nitro XV273u W1 27 -inch screen, which contains a 27 -inch screen of 1440 pixels up to 500 groups of peak brightness. Acer did not announce the price or final version of the Helios 18p AI, but he stressed that it will be available in North America at launch. Meanwhile, the Predator X27u F8 will be offered for sale in the second quarter of 2026 for $ 1300.

For Nitro laptops, Acer says that Nitro V 16 will be available in the United States in October starting at $ 1,000, with Acer Nitro V 16s reaching a month after November for $ 1100.
