“I want to take a moment to sincerely apologize for the hurtful tweets I posted many years ago,” she wrote. “Seeing them emerge again last week was very difficult, and reading them now, I feel ashamed that I ever thought or spoke that way. They were ignorant, hurtful and completely wrong.”

Nicole’s previous tweets, which were shared in a social media thread, specifically mentioned race, anti-gay slurs, and more.

In one, she called someone a “stupid fat Mexican,” while in another, she mocked Asian accents, calling them a “#convokiller.”

Another resurfaced post by Nicole showed the Pepperdine University alumna apparently sharing derogatory opinions about an Asian woman’s religious practices, writing: “5 minutes I’ll tell her Buddha isn’t real.”

In her final social media apology, Nicole added: “The woman I am today would never use those words or express those kind of opinions. Over the years, I’ve seen first-hand how cruel and damaging online hate can be, and I would never want to add to that world of pain in any way. I have since deleted those tweets and my entire X account, because I refuse to keep that energy alive or contribute to the cycle of hate.”

For those unfamiliar, Nicole, who has nearly a million followers on Instagram and hosts the podcast “Pre-Game with Kayla Nicole,” rose to fame after making headlines for her on-again, off-again relationship with Kansas City Chiefs star Kelce.
