Liverpool parade: 27 taken to hospital

Four children were among the injured, as 27 people were taken to the hospital after a car was entered into a crowd during the Premier League victory in Liverpool on Monday.

Mercysed police chief Conastel Jenny Sims said that the accident was not treated as terrorism and is believed to be an isolated accident after the arrest of a 53 -year -old man at the scene.

The Prime Minister said that he spoke to the mayor of Liverpool about the accident, adding: “Everyone, especially children, should be able to celebrate their heroes without this terror.”

At a press conference on Monday evening, Dave Kitchen of the Northwest Ambulance Service (NWAS) said that 27 people were taken to hospital and 20 people were treated at the scene, with four children among the injured.

He said that two of those who were transferred to the hospital, including one of the children, were seriously injured.

Nick Cerell, chief firefighting and rescue firefighter, said that four people were trapped under the car, including a child, were rescued by firefighters.

In a statement, Sir Kerr Starmer said: “The viewer in Liverpool is horrific – my thoughts with all the injured or injured.”

He later added: “They support and take care of these terrible events.

“The city has a long history and proud to gather during difficult times.

“Liverpool stands together and the entire country stands with Liverpool.”

Former Liverpool player Sir Kenny Dalglish said:

The English Premier League published: “Everyone in the Premier League was shocked by the horrific events in Liverpool this evening, and our heartfelt ideas come out to all the injured and were affected.”

Earlier, red smoke boxes were abandoned as an open-to-team bus with words. The offer took 10 miles for three and a half hours.
