California Dems target GOP with ads calling them soft on child sex trafficking

A series of Facebook Democratic ads in California claims that Republicans are in conflict with stronger laws to protect 16 -year -old sex victims, 17 and 17 years old, amid legislative battle on a draft law for simple demand in which Democrats forced to exclude the most severe sanctions on the purchase or older petition.

Ads began to appear on social media after a vote at the California Association last week when Democratic leaders refused to move forward with AB 379, which would have made an automatic felony to buy or seek children between the ages of 16 and 17 years of sex.

The advertising campaign came after the Democrat’s General Safety Committee decided to move the bill forward as long as it did not carry a felony for those who ask for older teenagers to have sex.

It also pushed many Republican legislators back against the accusation that their party does not protect children.

“You see my Democrats lying lying … After we contacted ASMDEMS on the ground last week to remove protection for the 16 and 17 -year -old victims, they run ads that accused us … from the thing they are doing, Republican leader James Galgar wrote at the association on X.”

Association member Josh Hoover, one of the Republicans, said many Republicans who targeted the advertising campaign, that the Democrats were trying to California gas.

“Do not make mistakes, these ads are nothing but distraction from their failed record of public safety,” he wrote on social media. “I will continue to fight to restore the protection they removed, hold the perpetrators accountable, and to ensure that all minors are treated equally under the law.”
