Kristi Noem responds to life sentence for Rachel Morin killer case

Exclusive: Internal Security Minister Christie sleep responded to the ruling on Rachel Mourin’s killer on Monday.
Victor Martinez Hernandez, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, is sentenced to life imprisonment without conditional release of killing, kidnapping, rape of 37 -year -old Maryland in August 2023. He was convicted of charges in April. Specifically, he faces two lifestyles for an additional 40 years.
“Today, Rachel Mourin’s murderer was sentenced to life imprisonment without conditional release due to her brutal killing. This illegal foreigner in our country should have been in the first place. Rachel here should see her five children grow up.”

She added: “We hear a lot in the main media about the stories of gang members and illegal society and are not enough for their victims. God bless Rachel and her family.”

Martinez Hernandez entered the United States in 2023 during the border crisis dating back to the Biden era. He was arrested in Toulsa, Oklahoma, in June 2024.
Mourin lost the MA & Pa corridor in Bel Air, Maryland, and her remains were found the next day in a nearby drainage, according to the police at that time. He overcame Mourin’s head with rocks and then raped her body before trying to hide it in the tube, according to the Ministry of National Security.

Her family was vocal advocates in the public domain after being killed.
“Unfortunately, the story of Rachel is not an isolated tragedy. It is one of many victims all over our state and our country who suffered from the hands of individuals who could not have been here because of the Biden administration’s failures,” Batti Morin, her mother, wrote in an article in favor of Fox News on April 29.
The issuance of the ruling comes at a time when the Trump administration is following collective deportations, as the agency highlights the arrest of illegal immigrants who were charged or convicted of other crimes.

The Ministry of National Security also noticed the reopening of the immigration crime participation office that started during the first term of president Donald Trump. The office provides a hotline and services for victims and their families.

“The presence of Rachel Mourin felt strongly in the courtroom today, where her children, her brothers and mother spoke from the heart,” the lawyer of the Mourin family, Randolph Rice, told Fox News Digital on Monday. “They participated in his deep love for her, and the irreplaceable vacuum has left her absence in their lives, and their fixed commitment to honoring her memory by seeking justice today and protecting others from suffering the same fate.”
