Trump honors 9/11 victims, mourns conservative activist Charlie Kirk

President Donald Trump closed the week in mourning for the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, and the honor of those who were lost in the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Kirk, 31, was assassinated during the “Uta Valley’s Return” tour on Wednesday. His death comes a year after my assassination attempt against Trump.

“For my American colleagues, I am full of sadness and anger at the heinous assassination of Charlie Kirk on a university campus in Utah,” Trump said in a video clip of the nation on Wednesday.

Trump said: “Charlie inspired millions and nights, all those who knew and loved him are united in shock and terror,” Trump said. “Charlie was patriotic devoted his life to the issue of open debate and the country he loved very much, the United States of America. He fought for freedom, democracy, justice and the American people. He is a martyr of truth and freedom, and no one with great respect was by young people.”

Trump said in an interview with “Fox & Friends” on Friday that he had been arrested in relation to Kirk’s assassination, and Utah state officials confirmed that the suspect in the 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson.

“I hope he owes it, and I imagine. I hope he will get the death penalty,” Trump said on Friday. “What he did, Charlie Kerk was the best person, and he was not worth it. He worked hard and healthy. Everyone loved him.”

Trump also celebrated the twenty -fourth anniversary of terrorist attacks on September 11 in the Pentagon and New York City on Thursday. Trump, along with the first lady Melania Trump, visited the Pentagon on Thursday morning to remember the life of 2977 in the attacks.

“This morning, we remember a better and encouraging light in America and the love they showed in their last moments,” Trump said.

Late Thursday, Trump went to New York and visited the Yanxiz club, before sitting in a wing next to the third basic team with the owner of the Yanxiz Hull Steinburner team and President Randy Levin. The chants of the “United States” erupted before and after the hymn in the game.

Trump has not attended the baseball game since the 2021 series.
