Ladies European Tour: Wales’ Darcey Harry claims maiden victory with three-shot win at Hulencourt Women’s Open | Golf News
Darssi Harry won the title of her European Women’s Tours (LET) with an impressive victory for three Atlas at the Ladies Hulencourt Championships in Belgium.
Welsh went to the last round of stroke Avani Prashanth and recovered from an early ghost of the four -bird card in an extension of six hole from the fifth to reach the third round in the foreground.
Harry canceled a ghost in the eleventh with an eagle explosion from the thirteenth place, which extended its advantage over the chase pack, with 68 less than 68 to finish the week in 13 below.
Victory comes just one day after she reaches 22 years and sees that she follows her in England Mimi Rhodes to win the emerging beginners season, with Harry proud to overcome the nerves to secure the biggest title in her career.
Harry said: “I don’t even know what to say now,” Harry said. “I am very excited. I didn’t think I would be photographing myself at all to win in Let, so it’s very good to know that I finally did it.
“I started with a ghost, but there are a lot of bird chances there as the condition of the cycle is very good. If you are hitting good clips, you are equal, and you hit some good eggs today.
“I think I went out today to try to get a good degree, so I wanted to prove to myself that I could continue another good offer in the course. I wasn’t really thinking about the leaders who I think really helped me today.”
Harry ended three strikes from Farida Nastazia Nadoud, who finished the week in 10 under equality, with New Zealand Amelia Garvi, another shot in third place after 66 of the final round.
Helen Brem Germany finished the week in fourth place, and Lauren Walsh in Ireland participated in the fifth place with the leader of Wahda Brashnat, who fell to seven years old after 35 years, with Kara Jenner in England in the seventh and seven strikes from Harry.
