Lewis Hamilton: Canadian GP ‘critical’ for Ferrari driver, say Sky Sports’ Karun Chandhok and David Croft | F1 News

Lewis Hamilton faces a “critical” weekend in the Canadian Canadian Award, according to Caron Chandok and David Croft of Sky Sports.
The world champion has endured seven times, perhaps his worst race yet for Ferrari the last time in the Grand Prix, as he was superior to an irreplaceable degree by his teammate Charles Licertrick in Barcelona.
While winning the enemy’s race in the second round of the season in China, Hamilton is still without a large experimental platform after nine races with the Italian team, as the LeClerc got three.
After he left despair because of his performance in Spain, Hamilton returns this week to his first -win -win -1 winning place in Canada in need of a offer that changes momentum.
Tell Chandhok the latest episode of F1 offer.
“In Imola, he was sad in the qualifiers, then suddenly the car was great in the race. In Monaco, there was not completely. He was behind Charles all the time.
“There must be a degree of anxiety crawling. When you look at Spain, the fact that Charles has overlooked him and left him completely comfortably, even before we go to the tires and different things later.
After a disappointing campaign in 2024, in which Hamilton was superior to his teammate Mercedes George Russell, there was hope that he would provide his transformation into Ferrari reactivating, but the pattern continued largely.
“If you are on the side of Lewis from the garage, I will be anxious. We are almost in the middle of the year now, we need to start understanding whether this is the main issue, we need to change the direction of the car,” Chandhok continued.
“I don’t ignore he still has the ability. He is clearly able to win races, and we saw it in China, but they need to find a beautiful place for him, where every week he knows what he has, and they did not get it.
“He still has a lot of good days and bad days. The fluctuations are too much.”
Can Hamilton receive a moral boost?
While Hamilton suggested that his own leadership was responsible for his great deficit in Leclerc, Ferrari Ferdrik Vasuor team manager after the race in Spain said that the car issue had affected the British performance in the last stages.
Hamilton did not refer to a problem during his appearance in the media after the race, however Sky SPORTS F1 Commentator Croft says that collecting more information about the situation may have provided a moral boost.
“It was in this way after Spain. Ferrari did not specify exactly what the problem was, but according to Farid Vasour, there was a problem with the car at this final stage, and that did not help him,” Croft said.
“He did not have the frequency of the race in the first two -thirds of the race, not to mention the last time. You go away, return to the drawing plate, right, go and find what is wrong.
“If something is mainly wrong in the car, I think this provides a moral boost to Lewis.”
Hamilton won six polar and seven F1 victories in Canada, and the other is coming in 2019, and Croft believes that the circle Gill Velnov can prove the perfect place to restore the 40 -year -old to the right track.
He said: “I think the next race is very important for Lewis because Canada is a place where he is going well. It is a place he loves. He got the first pole and wins it first there.
“This is the path of Luis Hamilton. If he has another day, as she did in Barcelona, there are problems.
“If anyone can do this and turn it, the seven -time world champion is Lewis Hamilton can definitely manage it.”
