Liam Lawson set to be replaced by Yuki Tsunoda at Red Bull as Max Verstappen’s team-mate from Japanese Grand Prix | F1 News

Red Bull is scheduled to replace Liam Lawson at Yuki Tsunoda after only two race from the Formula 1 season of the Japanese Grand Prix next week.

Lawson will return to Racing Bulls – the novice team team – from the Suzuka race in a straight swap with Tsunoda after a difficult start in Red Bull as a colleague in the Max Versaben team.

Red Paul did not comment and do not expect any official announcement on Wednesday.

Lawson, 23, has endured a bleak start until 2025 until now, when he was expelled in the first stage of the three qualifying sessions (including one in coordination of the enemy) and I woke up for the pace of the race compared to Verstapen, and it was not registered in Australia and China.

Tsunoda has been in the uniform of sister Red Ball since 2021, but he did not get a gesture to replace Sergio Perez, who left without the F1 seat for 2025.

The Fifth team teammate for Verstapen has been left since Daniel Ricardo left at the end of 2018.

But while both Pierre Jasli and Alex Alex have suffered from a short and uncomfortable period next to Verstapen when he was promoted from young drivers after Red Bull, Lawson’s time in a big team had proven that he was amazingly short.

Horner had refused significantly after the Chinese GP on Sunday that Lawson would remain in the car in the next race in Suzuka from April 4 to 6 after preliminary reports on Autosport that might not. Speaking after Lucon finally qualified and ended outside the points in both enemy race sessions and the major soldiers in Shanghai, team manager Christian Horner said: “I think Liam still has potential, we only do not realize that he is at the present time. I think the problem is for him, he had a really difficult weekend couple, he got all the media on his back.

“The pressure grows naturally in this work, and I feel very sorry for it. You can see that it is very difficult at the present time.

“He is a young man, we have a duty to take care of him and we will do our best to support him.

“Liam is still a very capable driver. We know that, for any reason, we don’t see it able to present it at the moment.”

Meanwhile, Tsunoda began its season strongly for the bull race.

The 24 -year -old qualified in the fifth and ninth place in Australia and China, respectively, where he scored points with sixth place in the enemy race in the last event. It is also possible that he will have scored points in both the main Grands race so far, but for the failed strategic calls by the team that brought down in the ranking.
