Liverpool vs Man United live: Full Premier League lineups

Liverpool will be one point behind Arsenal, leaders of the English Premier League, if coach Arne Slott’s team wins at home to 12th-placed Manchester United on Sunday.

The Reds have lost their last three matches in all competitions, including 2-1 losses to Chelsea and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

United beat Sunderland 2-0 at home on October 4, but are yet to win back-to-back matches in 2025/26 or win away from home in any competition.

Liverpool lineup against Manchester United

Ibrahima Konate starts for Liverpool, having been a doubt after suffering a muscle injury in the defeat to Palace which kept the centre-back out of France’s matches during the international break.

Wataru Endo withdrew from Japan duty and did not feature, but fellow midfielder Ryan Gravenbrech started despite being substituted in the first half of the Netherlands’ home win over Finland last Sunday.

Goalkeeper Alisson Becker’s hamstring injury means Giorgi Mamardashvili makes his second Premier League appearance.

Asked when Becker would return, Slott said it was “very difficult to say” because “the final stage of rehabilitation can always give you positives or negatives”, adding that the Brazil international would miss at least two more matches.

Alexander Isak starts the third match in a row for his new club. “Physically-wise, I think he’s now close to where he should be,” Slott said.

“We can judge him fairly from now on.”

Liverpool starting lineup: Giorgi Mamardashvili, Connor Bradley, Ibrahima Konate, Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez, Mohamed Salah, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis McAllister, Cody Jacobo, Alexander Isak.

Liverpool substitutes: Freddie Woodman, Joe Gomez, Florian Wirtz, Federico Chiesa, Curtis Jones, Hugo Ekitiki, Andy Robertson, Jeremy Frimpong, Rio Ngomoha

Manchester United lineup against Liverpool

Centre-back Lisandro Martinez is not yet ready to return from a long-term knee injury at United, while Noussair Mazraoui is a doubt and is on the bench.

“Lisha is close,” coach Ruben Amorim said, adding that Martinez is set to return to training.

Goalkeeper Sean Lammens retains his place after making his debut with a clean sheet against the Black Cats.

“It’s not like that [legendary United goalkeeper Peter] Schmeichel so far,” Amorim said sarcastically. “He’s a young man with talent.

“He showed a lot of composure and the fans liked that. But again, that is in the past, and we have to prove that in the next match.”

Man United Starting eleven: Sean Lammens, Matthijs de Ligt, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Amad Diallo, Casemiro, Bruno Fernandes, Diogo Dalot, Brian Mbeumo, Mason Mount, Matheus Cunha.

Man United Alternatives: Altay Binder, Noussair Mazraoui, Joshua Zirkzee, Patrick Durgu, Lenny Euro, Manuel Ugarte, Aiden Haven, Benjamin Sisko, Kobe Maino.
