Salesforce to invest $1B in Singapore to boost adoption of AI

Salesforce plans to invest a billion dollars in Singapore over the next five years as it seeks to fuel the adoption of AI’s AI’s agent development platform.
Salesforce claims that Agentforce can help alleviate the ongoing labor issues in Singapore and increase the workforce and institutions in the country by creating a “digital workforce” that brings people together with independent artificial intelligence agents.
This initiative follows a recent obligation of $ 500 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and another $ 500 million investment in Argentina by the cloud software giant to expand its cloud services, including AgentForce.
The company has been invested in Singapore for nearly two decades, and established the first artificial intelligence center abroad in 2019. Its customers in the country include Singapore Airlines, GRAC, M1, Fairprice Group and Ocean Network Express.
The CRM giant also said that he signed a deal with Singapore Airlines to integrate Agentforce; Salsforce’s AI, Einstein, in the service cloud; And cloud data in the airline client management system. Companies are also planning to develop AI solutions for airlines at the Salesforce’s Ai Research Hub.
Salsforce has been multiplied on artificial intelligence for a while now. The company is said to reduce its power operating by more than 1,000 employees while employing about 2000 people to sell new AI products.
Other American technology giants have invested heavily in Southeast Asia as well. Last May, Amazon Web Services said it would invest $ 9 billion over the next five years in Singapore to develop cloud infrastructure and services. Microsoft said last year that it would invest $ 2.2 billion in Malaysia and $ 1.7 billion in Indonesia during the next four years.
