Los Angeles tensions escalate as thousands take to the street to protest Trump’s National Guard deployment

Tensions escalated in Los Angeles on Sunday, when thousands of demonstrators moved to the streets in response to the publication of President Donald Trump, the extraordinary of the National Guard, where they stopped a major major road and ignited self -driving cars with the use of law in tear gas, and rubber strikes to control the crowd.
Many demonstrators dispersed with the fall of the evening and the police announced an illegal association, an introduction to officers who move and carry out arrests of people who do not leave. Some of the rest threw things on the police from behind a temporary barrier that extends the street width, and some of them threw pieces of concrete, rocks, electric motorcycles, and fireworks in highway officers in California and their cars parked on the 101st highway heading south. The officers ran under a coverage bridge.
On Sunday’s protests in Los Angeles, a sprawling city with a population of 4 million people, focused on several blocs from the city center. This was the third and most intense day of the demonstrations against the Trump immigration campaign in the region, with the arrival of about 300 soldiers of anger and fear among many residents.
The guard was specially deployed to protect federal buildings, including the detention center in the city center, where the demonstrators focused.
The Los Angeles police chief Jim McDONEL said that the officers were “drowned” by the remaining demonstrators. He said they included the ordinary instigators who appear in demonstrations to cause a problem.
Several dozens of people have been arrested throughout the weekend of the protest. One of them was held on Sunday to throw a Molotov cocktail in the police, and another to run a motorcycle in a group of officers.
Trump responded to McDonil on the social truth, and told him the arrest of the demonstrators in confrontation masks.
“It looks really bad in Los Angeles to bring forces !!!” books.
The clashes escalated with the arrival of the National Guard forces
Starting in the morning, the forces stood side by side, carrying long guns and riot shields while the demonstrators shouted “shame” and “returning home.” After some closely approached the members of the Guard, another group of official officers advanced to the group, and shot the boxes full of smoke in the street.
Minutes later, the Los Angeles Police Administration launched tours of munitions control of the crowd to disperse the demonstrators who said they had been illegally assembled. Then a large part of the group moved to prevent traffic on the 101st highway until the state patrol officers cleared them from the road late in the afternoon.
Nearby, fire caught fire in four self -driving cars, and large columns of black smoke were sent in the sky and the explosion intermittently while burning electric cars. By evening, the police issued an illegal order in the association that closed several blocks in the center of Los Angeles.
Flash explosions echoed every few seconds in the evening.
The ruler says
Democratic ruler Gavin New Trump asked to remove members of the guards in a message on Sunday afternoon, describing them as “a serious breach of the sovereignty of the state.” Los Angeles had a meeting with local law enforcement and officials.
Publishing appears to be the first time in decades, the National Guard of the state has been activated without the request of its ruler, and it is a major escalation against those who sought to hinder the collective deportation efforts of the administration.
Newsom and Los Angeles Karen Bass has blaming the increasing protests for Trump’s decision to publish the goalkeeper, describing it as a step designed for tensions. Both urged the demonstrators to stay peacefully.
“What we see in Los Angeles is the chaos that the administration raises.” “This is about another agenda, this is not related to public safety.”
But McDonnell, head of LAPD, said that the protests were following a similar pattern of civil disturbance rings, as things rise in the second and third days.
The Trump administration was reported that the Los Angeles police had failed to help the federal authorities when the protests erupted on Friday after a series of immigration raids. His ministry responded as quickly as possible, and it was not notified before the raids, and therefore it was not previously developed for the protests.
Meanwhile, newsom has repeatedly said that the California authorities were under control. He mocked Trump for publishing a congratulatory message to the goalkeeper on social media before the forces arrived in Los Angeles, and said in MSNBC that Trump had not floated the goalkeeper during a phone call on Friday. Trump described as “a cool, stone liar.”
The administration did not deter.
“It is a shiny liar for the test that there was no problem with Los Angeles before President Trump participated,” White House spokesman Abyel Jackson said in a statement.
Publishing is followed on the days of protest
The arrival of the National Guard followed two days of protests that started on Friday in the center of Los Angeles before spreading on Saturday to Paramount, a severe Latin city south of the city, and the neighboring compound.
Federal agents arrested migrants in the Los Angeles fashion area, and in a parking lot at the home depot and in several other locations on Friday. The next day, they were launched at the Office of the Ministry of Internal Security near the warehouse of another house in Paramount, which took out the protesters suspected of another raid. The federal authorities later said that there is no enforcement activity in the home warehouse.
The federal authorities said that the outcome of the week -long migrant arrests in the Los Angeles region rose above 100. Many of them were arrested during the protest, including a prominent union leader accused of law enforcement.
The protests did not reach the size of the previous demonstrations that brought the National Guard to Los Angeles, including the riots of WhatsApp and Rodney King, and the 2020 protests against police violence, as newsom requested the assistance of federal forces.
The last time the National Guard was activated without the permission of the ruler in 1965, when President Lindon Johnson sent forces to protect the civil rights march in Alabama, according to the Brennan Center for Justice.
Trump says there will be “a very strong law and order”
In the direction on Saturday, Trump protested a legal bonus that allows him to deploy members of federal service when there is “a rebellion or a risk of rebellion against the authority of the United States government.”
He said he authorized the deployment of 2000 members of the National Guard.
Trump told the correspondents preparing to run in the Air Force in Moreston, New Jersey, on Sunday that there were “violent people” in Los Angeles “and will not escape from that.
When asked if he was planning to send our forces to Los Angeles, Trump replied: “We will get forces everywhere. We will not let this happen to our country.” He did not explain.
About 500 was a naval infantry stationed in Twentynine Palms, about 125 miles (200 km) east of Los Angeles in a “ready to publish” condition on Sunday afternoon, according to the Northern American leadership.
