Love Is Blind’s Brenden Reveals If He Could Date Annie Post-Show

Brendan Guthrie It was all in Annie Lancaster Before destroying them Love is blind Season 9 broke up in the pods, but can they date again?

“The short answer is no,” Brendan, 32, said on the Wednesday, October 22, episode of the costar podcast. Joe Ferrucci“Table for 1” podcast, reflecting on his journey with Annie, 31. “I really cared about her. I really did. You know, she knows a lot about me.” [and] I know a lot about her. We have come a long way in the experience together.

Brendan and Annie met and contacted an unseen sight in Love is blind centuries, at the same time that the hairdresser was also getting to know her eventual suitor, Nick Amato. Before Nick, 28, popped the question, Annie broke things off with Brendan after he couldn’t reassure her about his feelings.

However, fans watched Brenden completely break down when Annie quit and announced he was ready to get down on one knee.

“I’d like to think we’d give it a real try,” Brenden said Wednesday about the possibility of proposing to Annie. “I don’t really think I’m like Nick and I don’t think Nick is like me. He’s a great guy, but we’re two completely different people, so I don’t know if that would work for Annie or not — and I don’t know if it would work for me.”

While Brenden can’t say definitively whether he and Annie will make it to the altar, he’s not entirely convinced the pair would have worked in the so-called “real world.”

“From the outside, we probably wouldn’t have worked,” he guessed.

Annie’s relationship with Nick also didn’t last either, as the luxury watch dealer called off their engagement due to fundamental differences.

“Getting to the altar is not a happy thought for me,” Nick told Annie on the show. “A wedding is not something I want to do. The reason I don’t want to marry you is because I’m unhappy.”

As for Brenden, he’s also finished the demo single and hasn’t tried dating Annie — or anyone else lib Castmate – Back in Denver.

“I’ve been on a few sporadic dates here and there,” Brenden told Joe, 29, of going out over the past two years since filming wrapped. “Sometimes, I’ll stop dating altogether because I might not be in the right place for it or maybe it’s not the right time.”

He continued: “I used to go on some appointments from time to time. [but] I’m in a place where I’m still intentional about dating, finding my wife, and getting married.

As Brenden continues to search for The One, he reveals that he briefly reunited with Annie.

“I think we were last together on set not long after we finished filming,” Brenden said of the last time he met his ex. “We didn’t really talk much. I don’t want to say there was a connection or anything like that, but it was in a group setting. We never saw each other.”
