Mahindra rejigs top brass: Hemant Sikka, Veejay Nakra, R Velusamy take charge of key growth engines

The Mahandra Group has announced the dates of the upper leadership through its heads. The internal appointments, announced on April 21, aims to direct the next stage of the mass growth, while aligning the experienced leaders with some of its high -performance work.
Hemant Sikka now will lead Maahindra Logistics (MLL), head of the agricultural equipment sector (FES). His appointment was cleared as the Managing Director and CEO by the MLL Council. The company confirmed its confidence in Sika, saying: “We believe that MLL has huge potential for growth and creating value … Hemant is one of our leaders and brings with him a strong mixture of strategic skills, operational hardness, customer capabilities and leadership capabilities on people.”
Sika replaces Ram Smamethhan, who resigned to follow up on other professional interests.
The seizure of matters in agricultural equipment work (FEB) is the Veeejay Nakra, which is currently driving the MANDRA car section. The Feb group described it as one of its “large and profitable works” as a ROCE (ROCE), which exceeds 60 %.
“Veejay joined M & M in 1995 and has a strong busy record in creating a transformation of car business with successful launch operations, while building a global manufacturing capacity, as well as forming a growth strategy for our international companies,” the company stated. R Velusamy, the head of automotive technology and product development will currently bear fees as head of auto business (AB). With the auto sector in Mahendra, there is strong growth in recent years, Velusamy is assigned an expanded role.
The group said: “To prepare for a future through technological innovation and growth opportunities … We will now integrate SUV and LCV (less than 3.5 tons), under one driving,” the group said. “This would help build more fitness and cooperation … The role will be a comprehensive responsibility for all jobs in the field of business with the delivery of P&L.”
Felosami, who joined Mahindra in 1996, was a major figure behind the development of global -level power generation engines and the company’s move to electric cars. It will also submit a report to Rajesh Jejurikar.
