Majority of Americans support deporting at least some illegal immigrants: poll
Most Americans support the deportation of some illegal immigrants, although they have different views about the reason for a new survey.
A poll at the Pew Research Center on Wednesday found that 32 % of adults say that all illegal immigrants should be deported from the country, while 16 % say nothing should be deported.
However, about half of the adults, at least, said that some immigrants who live in the country illegally should be deported, although they were unable to reach a consensus on the factor that should be a cause of deportation.
Of the about 51 % of adults who support at least some of the deportation of illegal immigrants, almost all support the deportation of those who commit violent crimes, according to the survey.
