Two weeks after the pushing of federal raids in Los Angeles to a protest at the country’s level of immigration policy, the latest national survey of Fox News found that many voters believed that legal immigrants help the country – with their preference also in the deportation of those who are illegally here.
Seventy percent believe that legal immigrants help the United States rather than harm it (22 %). This is 15 points from two years when 55 % said they are helping.

On June 6, Federal agents made immigration enforcement raids in Los Angeles, which prompted protests at the level of the country that aims at the Immigration and Customs Agency, or ICE, and President of President Donald Trump’s immigration policies. In response, Trump mobilized the National Guard and the American Army to assist federal agents and enforce local law – which was objected to by government and local officials, including California Governor Gavin News
Nearly half of the voters (46 %) agrees to functional ice, and rejection increased from 41 % in 2018 to 49 % in 2019 to 52 % today. The attitudes towards the ice are driven by sadness, as it does not consider more than 8 out of 10 Democrats, while an equal number of Republicans corresponds to. Nearly two -thirds of the independents do not agree.
“Trump is certain of the pots when he tries to remove the people in the country illegally.” “But the Democrats and some independents are vulnerable to claiming that the ice raids are heavy and threw the network very widely.”
With a margin of 6 points, more voters are preferred by local governments that collaborate with ICE in implementing federal immigration policies more than support to allow them to completely control immigration in its societies (51 % compared to 45 %).
Divide is blatant, such as men, white voters, voters between the ages of 65 years or more, Republicans prefer local governments that cooperate with the enforcement of migration, while voters are non -whites, voters under the age of 30, and Democrats prefer local leaders who have full control. Predictions between women are divided.
When it comes to protesting ice and enforcement of federal immigration, voters divided: 49 % say it is appropriate, and the same number says inappropriate.
Fox News: The pessimism of the economy is slightly abandoned by voters’ reflection
Based on Trump’s response to the protests, with a margin of 5 points, he says more in the National Guard and the American Army was inappropriate (52 %) for an appropriate (47 %).
They are likely to say that the protests are suitable while they also say that sending the armed forces is inappropriate are democratic men, Spanish -origin, women with university degree, and voters under the age of 30. They are likely to reject the protests as they also support military participation of republican women, conservatives, white white Christians, and linens without a university degree. Independents believe that both procedures are inappropriate.
In general, more than half (52 %) of the National Guard’s sending says that things have made things worse compared to a third thinking that they have made things better (34 %).
A skinny majority of voters says that the Trump administration enforcement of immigration policies has gone away (53 %). This is more than twice the number of those who think they have not so much (21 %). A quarter feels right (26 %). However, voters are divided on whether these policies make the United States safer (39 % safe, 39 % lower, 22 % no difference).
In general, about two -thirds are concerned about illegal immigration (67 % very or very), home use of US military forces (66 %), and protests in American cities (63 %), but these issues cause concern less than eight cases tested in the survey.

More Democrats (87 %) and independents (71 %) are concerned about their concern about the deployment of federal forces in cities in response to anti -ice protests by Republicans (42 %). On the contrary, more Republicans (84 %) are more concerned about illegal immigration than independents (68 %) and Democrats (49 %).
The best classification of work in Trump is on border security as 53 % (46 % do not agree). Immigration is its highest level, but it is still underwater here (46 % approval, 53 % do not agree).
It is useful for Democrats to give him two -digit approval on both (19 % agree to border security, 11 % migration).
In general, 46 % agrees to Trump’s career performance, while 54 % do not refuse.
The favorable compatible Trump classification is 45 %, and 55 % is unfavorable – similar to last month. Voters were divided into this procedure, with 48 % approval, while the same number is thinking.

It was conducted from 13 to 16 June 2025, under the supervision of Beacon Research (D) and Shaw & Company Research (R). The Fox News scanning includes interviews with a sample of 1003 registered voters who were randomly chosen from a national voter file. The respondents spoke with direct interviews on the ground lines (149) and mobile phones (566) or completed the survey on the Internet after receiving the text (288). The results based on the full sample have a margin of sampling error from ± 3 percentage points. An error in taking samples for the results between the sub -groups is higher. In addition to the error of sampling, the formulation of questions and demand can affect the results. Weights are generally applied to the variables of age, race, education and the region to ensure that the demographics represent the registered voter residents. Sources of developing weight goals include surveying American society, Fox News analysis of voters, and voter file data.
