Marciano stressed that what happened between him and Demi was consensual, as court documents explain what happened after the recording of the “Vanderpump Villa” episode.

“The truth is plain and simple. Ingman and Marciano met while filming in Italy. They flirted and talked privately. They shared a consensual kiss. Then they broke up,” court documents said. “After the shooting, Engemann remained in contact with Marciano for several months through calls, FaceTimes, text messages, invitations, and even location sharing. This behavior confirms the continuation of the relationship, and is not the person’s reaction to the sexual assault.”

Marciano’s legal team also claimed that Demi’s sexual assault allegations caused damage to Marciano’s reputation.

“They accuse Marciano of criminal sexual conduct that he did not commit,” the documents read. “It was widely disseminated, repeatedly republished, and shaped into ‘truth’ in the minds of viewers. The damage was immediate and severe, including lost professional opportunities, harassment by strangers, and lasting damage to Marciano’s reputation.”
