The ruling liberal party in Canada was elected Mark Carne as his new leader, and therefore the Prime Minister held a confrontation between the former central bank and US President Donald Trump.

On Sunday, the party announced that Carney won the competition to replace Justin Trudeau, who resigned from as a leader in January after months of partisan proposal and poor polling.

However, the celebrations of Carne and his team in Ottawa will be shortened as Canada faces a trade war with its southern neighbor. Trump threatened to impose a wide tariff on Canada’s exports and mocked the country’s 51st state.

In the end, the race was not soon. Carney won 131,674 votes, or 86 percent, ahead of the former Minister of Finance of Trudeau Christia Frieland with 11134.

Carney said the party will follow the financial responsibility and social justice while seeking to unite Canada. He said: “I pledge to you and all Canadians is to build Canada stronger for everyone.”

He said that his government will find new trade relations with “reliable partners”.

He said, “My government will keep the definitions until the Americans show us respect.”

Carney is expected to immediately replace Trudeau, who was at the liberal party event on Sunday.

During the campaign, Carney indicated that he will contact the elections shortly after winning the first place, to secure the authorization of the Canadian people to address the Battle of Trump.

“Carne has an international curator and an undeniable attractive when it comes to dealing with economic matters, although he has no electoral experience,” said Demiri Anastakis, a professor at the Rutman College of Administration at the University of Toronto.

The usual Trump attacks on Canada-which threatens to include and put the customs tariffs on wood, dairy, and steel-stimulated the liberal party, which was facing almost confirmed elections.

Carney said on Sunday that Canada “will never be part of America in any way,” adding: “We must build a new economy and new trade relations.”

Carne carried a campaign on being a veterans in managing the most suitable crises to manage the hostile business of Trump, with a focus on his time as a ruler of the Central Bank in Canada during the 2008 global financial crisis, then the Governor of the Central Bank in Britain throughout Britain’s exit from the European Union.

Opinion polls show that the Liberal Party has been narrowed by the progress of the conservatives before this year’s elections.

“Two months ago, he was a liberal leader as a dead end,” said David Coleto, CEO of Abacus Data, a polling company based in Ottawa.

He said: “Thanks to Trump, Mark Carney will appear in the upcoming Prime Minister with an opportunity for almost a metal currency to do unimaginable, which prompted the liberals to win the fourth consecutive elections.”

For several years, it was easily expected to be the opposition Conservative Party, during the reign of Pierre Boelifer, able to form the majority government in the upcoming elections. But Trump, and Karani as prime minister in Canada changed this path.

On Wednesday, an opinion poll at the Angus Reed Institute said that 43 percent of Canadians believe that Carney was better to face against Trump, compared to 34 percent who chose Poilievre.

Carney, 59, pledged to “build the strongest economy in Group 7” and “government reform and tax system” with incentives for construction and investment.

Rumors intensified Carney’s interest in becoming prime minister late last year, as the Trudeau government stumbled on policies on its immigration policies, the cost of living and the ability to bear housing costs.

Carney recently resigned as president of Brokefield Asset Management, which approximately US dollars in management assets. He was also head of the Bloomberg Council and the United Nations Special Envoy for Labor and Finance, and spent more than a decade in Goldman Sachs.

He pledged to cut off all his commercial relations and put his assets in confidence if he became prime minister.
